Chocolate & Banana Peanut, Protein Smoothie

image.pngI’m usually against using smoothies as a meal replacement, but in the summer I feel like that rule was just meant to be broken.

I know from my experience, the kitchen is the last place I want to be on a hot, humid summers day. So, I don’t mind drinking my calories for breakfast during the summer.

Not, only that but I have been craving smoothies a lot lately and I’m not one to ignore what my body wants, especially as they are so easy quick and easy to make.

NB: A gold blender will be required.

Serves 1-2 


  • 300g Frozen Banana
  • 50g Medjoul Dates
  • 65g Fresh Strawberries
  • 20g Peanut Flour
  • 15g Cacao Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Turmeric
  • 1 Scoop Chocolate Soy Protein (36g)
  • 125ml Coconut Water
  • 125ml Vegan Milk ( I used coconut)
  • 500ml Filtered Water.


Add the banana to a good blender and whizz it up until smooth.

Next add the dates and strawberries, and again blend until smooth.

Proceed to add all of the remaining ingredients and blend the mixture until you have a nice thick smoothie.
